We have pledged to comply with the following SDG
Reduce climate change from fashion
Fashion is one of the most polluting and wasteful industries, it contributes with 10% of all pollution. Manufacture a T-shirt requires 600 gallons of water and can create 7kg of carbon.
We pledge to reduce the impact of fast fashion and waste in 7%.
The status quo makes people be consumerists.
On average a western woman wears 15-20% of her wardrobe on regular basis. Most garments are worn twice before they are disposed of.
We pledge to increase the usage of clothes in at least 20%.
People continue buying outfits as they did 20 years ago.
On average, a person tries an item for less than 10 seconds before buying at a traditional retailer, and they are not even able to try it before buying online. This situation does't allow people to get the full picture of how an item will fit in their wardrobe.
We pledge to help people be more efficient when using outfits and reduce 22% of items purchased within a given time frame.
Income gap between males and females is huge.
Fashion manufacturers have mostly women and children working unser harsh labor environment in developing countries (long hours, extreme heat and under payment)
We pledge to have at least 60% of female employees at all levels of the company.
Research and development
We pledge to invest at least 1% of profits into making textiles eco-friendlier in their production and when disposing them.
